Carmont grabbed the winning score for the Exiles against England last month
Wigan Warriors centre George Carmont has signed a new one-year deal with the Super League champions.
The 33-year-old Samoa international penned a 12-month deal last year, which was due to end after the current Super League campaign.
He has scored 53 tries for the Warriors since joining from the Newcastle Knights in 2008.
"I had considered hanging my boots up but I decided it was right to stay another year," he said.
"I love the game and am looking forward to the rest of this season and then 2012," added Carmont, who
scored the winning try for the Exiles
in the International Origin game against England last month.

Wigan chairman Ian Lenegan said: "We are absolutely delighted that George is to stay with us for another year. He has been in outstanding form recently and has been a tremendous signing for this club.
"I approached George a month or so ago about the possibility of him staying and he went away to think about it. He spoke to his family, friends and fellow players and he decided he would like to play on for another 12 months which is great news."
