Olympics basketball: USA beat France to win women's basketball gold

The United States cruise to the women's basketball Olympic gold medal as they sweep France aside 86-50 in the final at the North Greenwich Arena.
They remain unbeaten since the 1992 Games and secured their fifth straight Olympic gold medal.
France held their own in the first quarter, but the US took command of the game in the second, with Candace Parker top scoring with 21 points.
