Renaud Lavillenie wins with Olympic pole vault record

A 5.97m vault by Renaud Lavillenie breaks the Olympic record and secures gold for France.

Lavillenie, the current indoor world champion, failed in final attempt at 6.07m but had already sealed victory.

Bjoern Otto wins silver on a countback from German team-mate Raphael Holzdeppe after both cleared 5.91m.
