Turkish athlete Merve Aydin struggles to complete heat two of the women's 800m.
She limps round the track to a rousing reception from the crowd inside the Olympic Stadium in a scene reminiscent of Derek Redmond at Barcelona 1992. Like Redmond, she completed the race in tears.
