Anthony Joshua is into the semi-finals of the men's super-heavyweight competition after beating Zhilei Zhang of China 15-11 on points.
Joshua promised to use the "positive energy" from the home crowd in his semi-final bout.
He is now guaranteed at least a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
