Triathlete Jenkins reflects on fifth-placed finish

Helen Jenkins says a lack of training because of a knee injury was one of the main reasons she missed out on an Olympic triathlon medal.

Jenkins, the world champion from Bridgend, finished fifth in Hyde Park as Switzerland's Nicola Spirig took gold.

The 28-year-old entered the race in excellent form, winning her last World Series race leading up to London 2012.

But the injury limited her training, hampering her medal chances.
