Olympic GB's Gemma Howell disqualified in Olympic judo

Great Britain's Gemma Howell is disqualified from her opening-round clash in the women's under-63kg judo at the ExCel on Tuesday.

Competing against reigning world and European champion Gevrise Emane of France, Howell picks up a passivity penalty with two minutes left - before getting a second penalty after the video referees ruled that Howell had illegally grabbed her opponent's leg.

The two penalties mean she is automatically disqualified from the event.
