Amir Khan 'honoured' to carry Olympic torch in home town

Amir Khan says it "will be an honour" for him to run the last leg of the Olympic torch relay in Bolton, and the Athens 2004 silver medallist believes it will be a "great experience".

Khan reveals he hopes to be reinstated as WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion following Lamont Peterson's failed drugs test, which would make his next fight against undefeated WBC light-welterweight champion Danny Garcia in Las Vegas on 14 July a unification bout.

Khan admits the undefeated Garcia is a "tough guy", while calling for Peterson to receive a ban, saying he has "lost a lot of respect" for the man who defeated him in Washington DC in December.
