Team GB's Annie Last on cusp of Olympic qualification

At just 21 years old, Annie Last is Britain's greatest hope for the women's cross-country mountain bike event at the London Olympics.

She has had her best season to date, with two top-10 World Cup finishes and a recent victory in the new women's World Cup Eliminator event, in Houffalize, Belgium.

As a result of her successes, Annie's two-year Olympic qualification process is fast approaching its conclusion.

Her results at the World Cup event in La Bresse this weekend will determine whether Great Britain will qualify for a single place in the women's event, as well as nation starting positions for the event in August.

British Olympic Dreams is on BBC1 at 12.50pm on Saturday, 19 May. Tune in to see BBC presenter Graham Bell testing out the Olympic Course in Hadleigh with Annie.
