Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson is stripped of the 100m title at the 1988 Seoul Olympics having tested positive for anabolic steroids.
Three days after beating American Carl Lewis in a world record 9.79 seconds, it was announced that Johnson had failed a doping test.
The athlete left the Games in disgrace and admitted the offence a year later at a Canadian government investigation.
