Local stars do their bit for Sport Relief at BBC Northern Ireland

David Healy, Mark Allen and Michael Hoey are among the local sports stars to put on a pair of trainers and get on the treadmill as BBC Northern Ireland does its bit for Sport Relief.

Ballymena United manager Glenn Ferguson was just finishing his stint on the treadmill as Healy arrived at BBC Broadcasting House in Belfast.

"We are looking for a striker and I'm looking at options," joked Ferguson when he spotted Northern Ireland's all-time leading goal-scorer.

Snooker star Allen admitted that he had to "dig deep" to do his mile and a half.

"As you can tell, I don't do this very often but it's for a great cause so I'm delighted to be involved," added the Antrim man.
