Morgan chooses Tyrone over Swifts

Niall Morgan opts to give up playing Irish League football with Dungannon Swifts in order to pursue his gaelic football career with Tyrone.

Morgan was part of the Tyrone squad which beat Derry in the Red Hands' opening McKenna Cup game at Healy Park on Sunday.

Red Hands' manager Mickey Harte said he was "very happy that Niall has thrown in his lot with Tyrone".

Dungannon manager Darren Murphy has described Morgan's departure from Stangmore Park as "a massive loss".
