Cavan 0-7 0-10 Longford

Cavan suffered their second NFL Division Three defeat after losing out to Longford at Breffni Park.

Longford held an early lead but Raymond Galligan and Niall McDermott each fired over two points to give Cavan a 0-4 to 0-3 lead at half-time.

Eugene Keating put Cavan two clear but Longford then hit six without reply, with the introduction of Jame McGivney proving pivotal for the visitors.

Longford eased to victory as Cavan faded in the second half.
