Ashley McKenzie secures bronze medal at Havana Grand Prix
British Olympian Ashley McKenzie beat Israel's Artiom Arshanski to win bronze at judo's Havana Grand Prix.
McKenzie, 24, returning from injury, used waza-ari and yuko throws to defeat Arshanski in the first international event carrying qualification points for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Earlier he lost his quarter-final to Eric Takabatake, but came through a repechage final against Juan Perez.
Coach Luke Preston said: "Ashley looked sharp and relaxed."
