Peter Chapple-Hyam faces British Horseracing Authority hearing
Epsom Derby-winning trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam is to face a British Horseracing Authority hearing over claims he breached rules.
The charges relate to whether Chapple-Hyam tried to mislead the BHA over mobile telephone records and could result in a ban from the sport.
The BHA will not say why it requested the phone records until after the inquiry is completed.
Chapple-Hyam trained Dr Devious and Authorized to Epsom Derby wins.
Dr Devious won in 1992 before the victory of Authorized in 2007 gave jockey Frankie Dettori his first win in the big race.
The date of Chapple-Hyam's hearing will be announced in due course.
