One of the most respected figures in rugby league, Anderson has enjoyed nothing but success since taking over from Wayne Bennett in March 1999.
Last year's World Cup win was the highlight of a coaching career that stretches back 17 years to his time at Halifax Blue Sox where he won the league and Challenge Cup.
Anderson returned to Australia in 1990 to take charge of Canterbury-Bankstown before guiding Melbourne Storm to the NRL Grand Final and World Club Championship. At the end of the current tour he will take up a three-year deal with Cronulla Sharks.
As a player, Anderson won 15 caps for Australia and played in the 'Invincibles' side which toured Britain in 1982.
