The 17th is a slight dogleg right to left, with bunkers up the left.

The great American amateur Bobby Jones once drove into the scrubby sandy rough ground on the left then hit a wonderful shot across sand dunes and bushes into the heart of the green. Gary Player almost lost his ball here on his way to winning in 1974.
