Gymnastics on the BBC

The BBC will broadcast the best of the action from the men's European Championship.

Beijing 2008 bronze medallist Louis Smith will be in action in Montpellier, along with British champion Daniel Purvis, Kristian Thomas, Max Whitlock and Ruslan Panteyleymonov - all of whom will be desperate to stake a persuasive claim to make the London 2012 Olympics Games team.

This team event in southern France also comprises six individual apparatus finals, with a host of other world-class athletes battling for medals and Olympic squad places.
