Darren Clarke finishes joint eighth at Australian PGA
Darren Clarke enjoyed a welcome return to form after finishing tied eighth in the Australian PGA Championship.
The former Open champion made a superb start in Sunday's final round on the Sunshine Coast, carding three birdies and an eagle on the first five holes.
Clarke bogeyed the ninth and had to settle for a four-under-par 68 which left the Dungannon man nine under.
Australian Daniel Popovic won on 16 under, four clear of Anthony Brown and Rod Pampling.
