The USA, captained by Paul Azinger, win the 2008 Ryder Cup in Kentucky 16½-11½ to end Europe's streak of three consecutive wins.
With four matches left on the course, American Jim Furyk beat Spainard Miguel Angel Jimenez to secure the US's best performance since 1981.
