Michael Schumacher crashes out of second practice at the Japanese Grand Prix after losing control of his Mercedes at the Spoon curve, hitting a tyre barrier.
The German announced he would retire for a second time at the end of the season, on Thursday.
Red Bull's Mark Webber led McLaren's Lewis Hamilton in the second practice session at Suzuka.
