Highlights from first practice at the Belgian Grand Prix, as Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi sets the fastest time in wet conditions at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Japanese driver was 0.552 seconds ahead of Pastor Maldonado's Williams, with the Toro Rosso pairing of Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne third and fourth fastest respectively.

Lotus and Marussia both ran their Mercedes-style 'double DRS' straight-line speed boosting systems for the first time, though Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean both elected not to set a timed lap in the slippery conditions.
