Everton 3-6 Chelsea: Roberto Martinez disappointed with defence

Everton manager Roberto Martinez says there were situations his team "should've defended a lot better" during their 6-3 defeat by Chelsea in an entertaining match at Goodison Park.

Chelsea struck twice in the opening three minutes, before Kevin Mirallas pegged one back for the home side just before half-time.

The match went into overdrive when the teams traded five goals in a remarkable 10-minute period after the break, before Diego Costa's second late in the match sealed the points for the visitors.

Seamus Coleman's 67th-minute own goal was Everton's 44th in the Premier League - the most in the competition's history.
