Wrexham must keep momentum going, says manager Kevin Wilkin

Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin wants to his side to maintain their early season momentum against Macclesfield.

Wilkin's side have won three of their first four games of the season and are fifth in the Conference after a 3-2 win at Alfreton.

But Wilkin still believes there is plenty for the Dragons to improve on.

"Nine [points] out of 12 isn't too bad but as a manager I'm always wanting a bit more and expecting a bit more," he said.

"If we can go and take three points on Monday that will be a fantastic start for us.

"There's a lot of tough games coming up and they come thick and fast so we need to get back where we need to be and able to do the job."

Bank Holiday Monday's opponents Macclesfield are a point behind Wrexham in seventh place in the Conference table.

John Askey's side are unbeaten after four games of the Conference season.
