Dartford boosted their Conference Premier survival hopes by beating a wasteful Hereford.
Alex Wall, whose month-long loan from Luton was extended this week, steered home his third goal in five Darts appearances from Alex Woodyard's cross.
Michael Rankine, Jonathan Brown, Frankie Artus and Sam Smith all missed good chances to level for the Bulls.
And Lee Noble made it 2-0 by blasting into the top corner after his own free kick was only partially cleared.
Dartford manager Tony Burman told BBC Radio Kent:
"I've got to give credit to the players, they have been excellent since the turn of the year and that little bit of a spark is there.
"We came under a lot of pressure. They get the ball in the box early, but I thought we defended really well.
"The first goal has been placed, you don't have to hit it like a rocket. The second goal, you won't see a better volley technique. It's a great strike.
"We had tired legs, but we felt at half-time we needed to get out of third gear. That didn't happen, but we defended really well."
