Aldershot Town grabbed a late leveller to deny bottom of the table Hyde what would have been only their second win of the season.

The Shots opened the scoring just before the break when Brett Williams fired in from close range.

The lead only lasted two minutes as Adam Blakeman levelled from Josh Brizell's assist.

Jordan Clark drilled what looked to be the winner for Hyde but Joe Partington notched a dramatic late equaliser.

Partington's goal means Aldershot remain above the relegation zone on goal difference.

Aldershot Town boss Andy Scott told BBC Surrey:

Post-match: Aldershot manager Scott

"We've created enough chances to win two games today. In the first half we didn't play with enough urgency and we didn't get the width we wanted.

"In the second half I couldn't fault them. We were totally dominant and created so many chances but lacked the killer instinct.

"We should've got three points but we could've quite easily got none today after making a mistake. The attitude was fantastic to come back into the game.

"It was important we came here and won the game but that wasn't to be. We created more chances than we have done in a while.

"I am obviously disappointed but when you make individual errors we can't dwell on it and it's another point to the total."
