Sunderland v Man Utd: Gus Poyet happy to 'forget about league'

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet says he is happy to "forget about the league" when his side take on Manchester United in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

The Black Cats are bottom of the Premier League, and Poyet is hoping his players are able to enjoy the "nicest part of the season", with a place at Wembley potentially 180 minutes away.

The Stadium of Light is the venue for the first leg, with the return at Old Trafford on Wednesday, 22 January.
