Dominic Blizzard's goal ensured Plymouth Argyle extended their unbeaten run to six matches with a draw at home to high-flying Southend.
The visitors came close to opening the scoring early on when Ben Coker's free-kick was well saved by Luke McCormick.
Plymouth went ahead after the break when Blizzard unleashed an impressive strike from long range.
Southend levelled two minutes later as Kevan Hurst latched onto Cauley Woodrow's through ball to fire home.

Southend United manager Phil Brown told BBC Essex:
"Although it was two different systems, we seemed to cancel each other out at times.
"We made the change and went four-four-two and the game just opened up. That was the moment when I thought the first goal might be the winning goal.
"When they scored it, it pricked the consciences of our players and we stepped up to the plate and started playing better football.
"There was opportunities for both sides, but I think if John (Sheridan) was sitting here, we'd probably both say a draw was a decent result for both for us."
