West Ham 1-3 Arsenal: We missed 'gilt-edged' chances - Allardyce

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce says his side missed too many 'gilt-edged' chances in their 3-1 home defeat against Arsenal.

The Hammers led until the 68th minute of the game courtesy of a goal from Carlton Cole, but wasted chances to double their lead before Theo Walcott equalised for the Gunners. A second for Walcott and a third from substitute Podolski secured the points for the away team.

The result means West Ham slip in to the relegation zone in 19th place in the Premier League table .
