Billy Kee scored a late equaliser for Burton to ensure an FA Cup second round replay with Fleetwood.
Rene Howe forced a good save from home keeper Scott Davies before Gareth Evans rattled Burton's post with a fierce drive.
Fleetwood looked to have won it when Jeff Hughes shot past Dean Lyness from a corner with seven minutes remaining.
However Burton forced a reply in added-time when a Phil Edwards long throw bounced kindly for Kee who fired home.

Burton manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:
"We had a game plan and I thought the players carried it out perfectly in the first 45 minutes. We had one or two opportunities where I thought we could have done a little bit better, but we were getting into the right sort of areas and we were frustrating Fleetwood which was the plan all week.
"In the second half, we were unlucky to be 1-0 down in some ways because it was a sloppy goal to concede. I felt we conceded a bit too much space at times in the second half.
"But then once again, the team showed it's incredible character because they never believe they're beaten. In the end, we end up nicking a draw, so I'm really pleased."
