Crewe Alexandra: Brad Inman and Anthony Grant available for loan
Crewe boss Steve Davis has made summer signings Brad Inman and Anthony Grant available for loan moves because he is unhappy with their attitude.
The two midfielders were left out of Saturday's squad for the 2-1 defeat by Port Vale and Davis says that neither is being considered for selection.
"Their attitude has got to be better," Davis told BBC Radio Stoke.
"If it improves, we'll look at it. For the moment, for the benefit of the squad, they're better not around it."
- Anthony Grant has started 12 of Crewe's League One games this season since arriving from Stevenage, scoring once.
- Brad Inman, who netted eight times while on loan from Newcastle United last season, has made eight starts. scoring once.
Davis's Alex side are currently second from bottom in League One, having failed to win in seven matches.
He had already announced that he was ready to make changes and bring in new faces, but although on the losing side, the Crewe boss was satisfied with the improved performance in Saturday's defeat.
By way of partial explanation, Davis cited Friday's announcement by Devon & Cornwall Police that the seven Alex players under investigation by police for the alleged rape of a woman during their pre-season trip to Cornwall this summer would face no further action.
"With that cloud hanging over us, it was like a noose being removed from our necks," added Davis.
"You could see the lift on Saturday. And I'm sure that will get better."
Crewe are back in action on Tuesday night with a trip to League One relegation rivals Carlisle and they are expected to be unchanged, following Saturday's return of defender Matt Tootle after four games with a foot injury.
Teenage striker Ryan Colclough, who had been out since early October, also made a return from the bench.
