Craig Westcarr cancelled out Chris Porter's penalty to earn Walsall a draw at lowly Sheffield United.
Westcarr headed in the equaliser just after half-time, converting James Baxendale's near-post cross.
The Blades had already had one penalty appeal turned down before referee Chris Sarginson awarded a spot-kick for handball in first-half injury time.
Porter rifled in from 12 yards but the Saddlers fought back and the two sides had to settle for a point apiece.
VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough tells BBC Radio Sheffield:
"It was a hard-earned point, but I'm disappointed with the goal we conceded again.
"I was disappointed with our final delivery at times - we got into some good, positive positions and set-plays but weren't quite on it.
"But I think one penalty was the least we should have had this evening."
Walsall manager Dean Smith told BBC WM:
"We were average tonight. We know we can play a lot better and and it was probably a fair result.
"But it shows how far we've come that we can go away from Bramall Lane disappointed with only a point.
"It was a fantastic ball by James Baxendale for the goal and Craig Westcarr took it well.
"But we feel hard done by about the penalty decision. That certainly wasn't deliberate handball. The first one was for handball against Milan Lalkovic, but two wrongs don't make a right."
