Blackpool & Blackburn fined £5,000 after admitting FA charges

Blackpool and Blackburn have both been fined £5,000 by the Football Association after admitting charges of failing to control their players.

The charges related to an incident towards the end of a 2-2 draw between the two Lancashire clubs on 26 October.

A late challenge by Rovers striker DJ Campbell on home goalkeeper Matt Gilks sparked a mass brawl late in the match.

Campbell was shown a red card by referee Paul Tierney, as was young Blackpool full-back Jack Robinson.
