World Cup 2022: Premier League managers expect Qatar 2022 winter switch

Premier League managers say they expect the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to be moved to winter.

Fifa has agreed to set up a taskforce to explore moving the tournament from summer to winter, but a final decision on when it will be played will not be made before the 2014 World Cup.

Manchester United's David Moyes, Arsenal's Arsene Wenger, Newcastle's Alan Pardew, Sunderland's Kevin Ball and Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini say they expect it to be moved to the winter, but are hoping the disruption to the Premier League will be minimal.
