Birmingham City: Lee Clark wants long run in League Cup

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark says that he wants a long run in the League Cup and would love to match Bradford City's achievement of reaching last season's final.

He told BBC WM: "I want a home tie in round three that we can potentially win. I want to take this club as far as I can. I want to emulate what Bradford did."

The Blues went through in bizarre scenes at Huish Park as Yeovil's Byron Webster sent the Capital One Cup second round tie into extra-time when he controversially chipped into an empty net after Blues keeper Colin Doyle had kicked the ball out following an injury to Dan Burn.

Yeovil then eventually let Blues walk in a goal unopposed to make amends for their own "unsporting" equaliser.
