Portsmouth manager Guy Whittingham speaking to BBC Radio Solent:
"It's very pleasing to get off the mark and a very good display again.
"What helps you win games is knowing that players can go forward attacking knowing that we're solid at the back so it's vitally important that you can get as many of those (clean sheets) in the season.
"We knew it was going to be more difficult to break them down second half but overall, very pleasing."
On Jed Wallace's goal: "He took it very well; it was a great timing of the run and it was a good ball through from Patrick (Agyemang).
"Jed'sbeen itching to get his goals like he did last season so it's a good way for him to get off the mark today."
