Queen's Park 1-3 East Stirlingshire

Chris Townsley's double helped East Stirlingshire open their Scottish League Two season with victory at Queen's Park.

Ricki Lamie was sent off after conceding a penalty from which Iain Thomson fired Shire ahead.

Townsley headed home Jamie Glasgow's cross before Blair Spittal pulled one back for the hosts.

But Townsley netted again from another Glasgow delivery, this time converting with a low shot.
