AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of defender Rhys Weston after receiving international clearance from the Malaysian Football Association.
The 32-year-old former Cardiff and Walsall man had been on trial with the Dons and agreed a contract last week.
However, the League Two side were awaiting clearance from Malaysia following a spell with Sabah FA.
leaving Walsall in 2010,
Weston has had spells with Dundee and Icelandic side KR Reykjavik.
"I have felt a part of the group since I first came through the door," Weston told
the club website.
"No-one escapes the banter and it has been enjoyable to come back into an environment like this after being out of English football for three years.
"I am really pleased that this is done now. I think we have a good mix of youth and experience at Wimbledon and the future is bright."
