  1. 2100:

Right I'm calling it quits now. Congratulations to Celtic on reaching the Champions League play-off round.

Many thanks for your company and all of your contributions.

  2. 2057:
Manager Neil Lennon had a few nervous moments at the Boras Arena Manager Neil Lennon had a few nervous moments at the Boras Arena

But his goalkeeper Fraser Forster was rarely troubled in a match low on thrilling attacks.

Celtic were nowhere near their best but they are through to the play-off round and are two ties away from another crack at the Champions League group phase.

Charlie Melly on Twitter: "Please tell Hartson that CL final between #mufc and #cfc was played on artificial pitch in Moscow. #bbcsportscot"

Late edit: I've just realised that is absolute guff.

  4. 2052:

Celtic have a few options to replace Kelvin Wilson, with Charlie Mulgrew, Mikael Lustig and new arrivals Virgil van Dijk and Steven Mouyokolo. But Neil Lennon may want to spend a chunk of the money raised this summer on a new centre-half. I fancy he'll want a few other signings too...

  5. 2049:

On that "magnificent" back four, Neil Lennon also said that Kelvin Wilson has probably played his last game for Celtic.

Nottingham Forest are after the 27-year-old, who might just have bumped up his transfer fee with a very solid display tonight.

  6. 2047:
Celtic manager Neil Lennon on BBC Scotland

"That's the worst artificial pitch I've ever seen.

"It was difficult for the players to keep their balance.

"I'm happy, although we weren't at our best. I thought we should have been out of sight after 20 minutes with the Samaras header and the keeper has made an unbelievable save from Joe Ledley.

"It was a cup final for Elfsborg and our back four were strong, they were magnificent."

  7. 2044:

BBC Scotland guests Pat Bonnar and John Hartson, who appeared in a fair few top European nights for Celtic, are agreed in their condemnation of Elfsborg's artificial turf. Imagine the burns those two would have picked up on the astroturf!

  8. 2042:

The draw for the final play-off round is made on Friday, with Uefa throwing a lavish lunch for all of those in attendance at their headquarters in Nyon.

Celtic will be seeded in the champion's section are can face one of five possible opponents.

They are: Austria Wien (Austria), Maribor (Slovenia), Shakther Karagandy (Kazakhstan) Ludogorets Razgrad (Bulgaria) or the winners of Legia Warsaw v Molde.

That last tie is 0-0 at half-time in Poland after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

  9. 2039:

The Celtic players applaud their band of followers, who are in full party mode now after a tense 90 minutes in Boras.

  10. 2037:
    FULL-TIME- Elfsborg 0-0 Celtic (agg 0-1)

It wasn't pretty but it's job done for Celtic who progress to the final round of Champions League qualifying.

  11. 2035:

It's all kicking off as Bangura lashes out at Scott Brown. There's a lot of pushing a shoving but Hedlund is the only man to be cautioned.

  12. 2034:

A couple of scary moment for Celtic as the ball bounces around near the arm of defender Emilio Izaguirre in the penalty box before James Keene hammers a shot high and wide.

  13. 2032:

Four minutes of injury time folks...

  14. 2032:

Anthony Stokes does some great work to win a corner and take the pressure off his team. It's safe to say the penalty box is not exactly busy, with Kris Commons the only Celtic presence.

  15. 2030:

Anthony Stokes is booked as he catches an opponent with a flailing arm.

  16. 2029:

Elfsborg have four forwards on and are pumping balls forward but Celtic are standing firm.

Board67 on Twitter: "Elfsborg's gameplan from the start has been to get the ball in pen box and win a penalty. Celtic will have to be on their toes #bbcsportscot"

  18. 2025:

There is around eight minutes to go at the Boras Arena as Elfsborg make a final change. David Elm is on for Klarstrom. That's a striker for a left-back for those of you unfamiliar with the Swedish top flight.

  19. 2021:

Celtic's decision-making going forward has been pretty poor tonight. Kris Commons and Georgios Samaras were rarely on the same wavelength and nothing has changed since Anthony Stokes replaced the Greek.

  20. 2019:
Kelvin Wilson has been impressive at the back for Celtic in the Boras Arena Kelvin Wilson has been impressive at the back for Celtic in the Boras Arena

If the central defender is allowed to rejoin Nottingham Forest, he will be a hard man to replace.

  21. 2017:

Elfsborg are really going for it now. The men in yellow are throwing themselves into every 50-50.

  22. 2016:

Adam Matthews is the man coming on for Mulgrew. Elfsborg also make a change, with Hedlund on for Hauger.

  23. 2015:

It's a pretty nifty stretcher; a kind of sun-lounger on wheels. Charlie Mulgrew hops on but there is no replacement on the park for Celtic yet.

  24. 2014:

Charlie Mulgrew is in trouble as a stretcher is called for. The Celtic midfielder is getting treatment on his thigh.

  25. 2012:

Mo Bangura twists away from two Celtic players and lays the ball off for team-mate Hauger but the Elfsborg midfielder blazes his shot miles wide of the target.

  26. 2011:

Anthony Stokes is on for Georgios Samaras. The substitute scored two against Ross County at the weekend.

  27. 2009:

While I was looking up the spelling of Shakther Karagandy, Georgios Samaras set Kris Commons up for shot on the edge of the penalty box but the Celtic forward scuffed his effort well wide.

  28. 2008:

I knew it was a mistake to listen to Chick Young.

If Celtic progress tonight they will meet either:

Austria Wien (Austria), Maribor (Slovenia), Shakther Karagandy (Kazakhstan), Ludogorets Razgrad (Bulgaria) or the winners of Legia Warsaw v Molde.

  29. 2005:

Elfsborg right-back Johan Larsson loves to get forward and his drilled shot is scooped up by keeper Fraser Forster.

  30. 2002:

James Forrest appears to have the beating of the Elfsborg left-back as he skips by him again but the winger's low delivery is cut out by a covering defender.

  31. 2001:

Celtic are nearly through on goal as Charlie Mulgrew floats a great ball forward for the scampering Kris Commons but defender Soderberg uses every inch of his giant frame to get a crucial touch with his head.

  32. 1957:

There's an almighty scramble in the Celtic six yard box following a long throw-in. Scott Brown cannons the ball off one of his own team-mates and the it pings around dangerously near the goal before an offside decision relieves the pressure.

Andrew Valette on Twitter: "Plastic pitches are an abomination. I play on one in a pub league and if it were real grass im sure id be dynamite... #bbcsportscot"

  34. 1952:

An Elfsborg corner is worked out to Johan Larsson but the full-back's powerful shot from 25 yards is skewed wide.

  35. 1951:

BBC Sportscene co-commentator Mark McGhee: "I don't want to labour the point about the pitch but it is different from playing on grass."

Celtic have really struggled to hold on to possession in midfield tonight.

  36. 1948:

The second half is up an running with Celtic getting forward immediately. The Swedes need to go look lively to make a couple of clearances in their own penalty box.

  37. 1945:
Charlie Mulgrew It's all been a bit untidy so far. Will we get a better second half?

David Norwich on Twitter: "Why don't they have grass in Sweden? Pitch making a poor team look decent and a decent team look poor #bbcsportscot"

  39. 1940:

BBC Radio Scotland's Chick Young tells listeners that Celtic's list of possible opponents is down to five, should they get through to the play-off round.

Maribor, Dinamo Zagreb, Austria Vienna, a team from Kazakhstan that I'll need to look up the spelling of and Ludogorets Razgrad of Bulgaria.

  40. 1937:

They are replaying the best moments of the first half on the TV coverage. Studio guest John Hartson is appalled by Georgios Samaras failing to hit the target with the headed chance that came his way.

Mo Bangura also missed a great opportunity with his head. Big John would have buried those ones...

  41. 1935:

BBC Sportscene pundit John Hartson: "Celtic have been one-dimensional and predictable. Every time goalkeeper Fraser Forster has the ball, all that's on is a big hoof up the park. Nobody has controlled the game in the Celtic midfield."

  42. 1932:
    HALF-TIME- Elfsborg 0-0 Celtic (agg 0-1)

The first 45 minutes comes to end with a shot from Joe Ledley whistling wide. It's not been a classic but Celtic remain ahead 1-0 on aggregate.

  43. 1930:

Mo Bangura robs Scott Brown and sets off for goal only to see his shot blocked by Kelvin Wilson. The Celtic defender is then up on his feet quickly to make a great tackle inside the box as Bangura goes lookign for scraps.

  44. 1928:

Celtic full-back Mikael Lustig winds up to have an ambitious pop at goal from 35 yards and probably wishes he hadn't bothered as the ball flies well wide of the home goal. Just a few minutes to half-time now...

  45. 1925:
Elfsborg's Mohamed Bangura controls the ball against Celtic Mo Bangura has been lively for Elfsborg

MBEHAN on Twitter: "Celtic lacking in quality in defence & midfield if they do progress to the champions league they will really struggle #bbcsportscot"

#Tunde Akera on Twitter: "bbcsportscot Bangura is getting lots of chances, I just hope the player they loan will not come to hurt them!"

  47. 1922:

Charlie Mulgrew gets his head to a cross from Celtic skipper Scott Brown but he cannot get the necessary purchase on the ball and it flies harmlessly over the target from 12 yards.

  48. 1920:

James Keene, formerly of Kidderminster Harriers and Boston United, breaks through a sliding challenge from Kelvin Wilson and bundles into the Celtic penalty box before he is crowded out by defenders in green and white.

  49. 1918:

Elfsborg make a change in central defence as Soderberg replaces Mobaeck, who must have picked up an injury. The sub is a giant!

  50. 1917:

A Celtic corner is wasted as Charlie Mulgrew's delivery flies over everyone in a congested penalty box.

  51. 1913:

Mo Bangura demonstrates why Celtic were willing to let him go out on loan as he heads a great chance over from eight yards. Efe Ambrose lost his man from a Stefan Ishizaki cross and the Elfsborg striker really should have done better.

  52. 1912:

A couple of slips from Celtic players in quick succession as the home fans roar their approval. Mikael Lustig goes down on the plastic turf as he passes it back to keeper Fraser Forster, who also ends up on his backside after kicking clear.

  53. 1910:

Elfsborg are persisting with their strategy of lumping long balls forward and Celtic are dealing with it pretty comfortably.

  54. 1906:

Instead, it's Kris Commons who thunders the ball low into the defensive wall. It falls to Joe Ledley near the penalty spot but home keeper Stuhr-Ellegaard makes a fantastic save to deny the Welshman.

  55. 1905:

Celtic have a free-kick on the D of the penalty box. Charlie Mulgrew is over it...

  56. 1901:

A clearing header from Joe Ledley breaks to Kris Commons and the Celtic forward dips his shoulder to go by one opponent but another defender gets across to clear on the edge of the penalty box.

  57. 1859:

Mo Bangura is quickest to react from a corner kick as Elfsborg enjoy a good spell of pressure but the striker has his back to goal and cannot get a decent touch on the ball.

  58. 1857:

Georgios Samaras has his long locks in his hands in disbelief as he powers a free header over the crossbar from 12 yards. The Celtic striker was picked out by a great cross from Mikael Lustig, the Swede in Celtic's camp.

Darren Bonnar on Twitter: "Come on Celtic. Lets see the ball with stars on it in the centre circle at paradise this season. #bbcsportscot"

  60. 1855:

Oh wait, the big yellow streamer is back - and it is very irritating.

LukeDozza on Twitter: "#bbcsportscot I hope that yellow streamer disappears from my screen very soon its already irritating me!"

I've had that removed for you...

  62. 1852:

The big lads are up from the back as Elfsborg win a throw-in in an advanced position. The ball glances off the head of a yellow-shirted player and runs through to Celtic keeper Fraser Forster.

  63. 1850:

Celtic keeper Fraser Forster is at full-stretch as a smart overhead kick from Mo Bangura slides narrowly wide.

  64. 1848:

Elfsborg have shelled a few long balls forward in the direction of Celtic left-back Emilio Izaguirre. Do they see the Honduran as a weak link? He is the shortest member of an otherwise strapping back four.

  65. 1846:

First impressions of the synthetic pitch is that it's a lot better than the one Celtic played on against Cliftonville in the previous round. The Belfast playing surface had all of those little bits of black rubber that get in your socks at the five-a-sides.

  66. 1845:

And we're off as Russian referee Vladislav Bezborodov sounds his whistle.

Jerry O'Shea on Twitter: "Celtic have to get a good result, we need Champions League football #bbcsportscot"

Use the hashtag #bbcsportscot on Twitter.

  68. 1840:

The teams emerge from the tunnel on a lovely summer's evening in Boras. The home fans are a colourful bunch and are making quite a racket...

  69. 1838:

Celtic boss Neil Lennon on dropping striker Anthony Stokes to the bench: "It was a big decision but we have to think of the opposition - they are very good at home.

"Playing with two out-and-out wingers might have been too much of a risk. I'd like us to be more solid to begin with.

"Charlie Mulgrew is a threat with set-pieces and he gives us something extra in the air.

"If Samaras can do the 90 minutes, great. If not we have options from the bench to stretch Elfsborg."

  70. 1834:

Elfsborg are, of course, the defending Swedish Allsvenskan champions but they are not doing so well this season. With 18 games played, they sit sixth in the table - nine points behind leaders Helsingborgs, who Celtic beat in last year's qualifying rounds.

  71. 1831:
    Celtic manager Neil Lennon

"The Champions League is the blue ribbon event.

"It is what we look forward to and we were starved of Champions League football for the last few seasons up until last season and you could see what it meant to so many people in the country."

  72. 1829:

The BBC Two Scotland Sportscene coverage will be starting any minute now. If you're lucky, you might catch the last question on Eggheads via the stream at the top of the page.

  73. 1828:
    Elfsborg manager Jorgen Lennartsson:

"There is no stress on us to score early. If we score in the 65th minute to make it 1-0 then the pressure will go on Celtic.

"So we don't feel it necessary to be on the offensive right from the beginning.

"We feel no pressure going into the game, we just have to make sure we have the right balance of attack and defence."

  74. 1825:

BBC Sportsound pundit Murdo MacLeod on the possibility of Celtic losing Kelvin Wilson: "He's very quick but he's not comfortable in possession of the ball. I don't know if that's a good partnership with Ambrose. Already this season we have seen a few comic cuts moments, with them getting too close to each other."

Use the hashtag #bbcsportscot on Twitter.

  75. 1821:

Kelvin Wilson is wanted by former club Nottingham Forest but Neil Lennon shows faith in the central defender by slotting him back into his usual place beside Efe Ambrose.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon discussing Kelvin Wilson on Tuesday:

"He is aware of what we think of him and he knows the situation and what lies ahead of him.

"He is quite calm, he is that type, if he is picked and he is ready to play I am sure he won't let us down.

"There is no getting away from the fact that there is genuine interest from a club in England but I don't want to discuss any of the players' situations or conditions until after the game.

"He has been magnificent for us, certainly in the European games."

  76. 1818:

Can Anthony Stokes feel hard done by after scoring both goals against Ross County on Saturday?

    Referee: Vladislav Bezborodov (Russia)

  78. 1812:

On-loan Mo Bangura controversially featured in the first-leg against the wishes of parent club Celtic. All of his early touches were loudly booed in Glasgow and he did nothing to endear himself to the home crowd with a couple of theatrical tumbles.

The Sierra Leone forward picked up a leg injury at training earlier this week but is fit to play again tonight.

  79. 1809:
Celtic were training on the artificial grass at the Boras Arena last night. Celtic were training on the artificial grass at the Boras Arena last night.

Neil Lennon's side were successful on a Scandinavian synthetic surface in Champions League qualifying last season, beating HJK Helsinki.

Celtic were also 3-0 winners at Cliftonville's "plastic pitch" in the previous round and their first ever away win in the group phase came on the artificial turf in the Luzhniki Stadium last year, with a 3-2 win over Spartak Moscow.

  80. 1806:

We're really spoiling you with coverage of this tie. BBC Radio Scotland coverage begins at 18:10 and that's available online. At 18:30 BBC Two Scotland starts broadcasting Sportscene and, again, that will be made available to online viewers. The action will magically appear at the top of this page.

  81. 1804:

Two changes from the first leg for Celtic, with Joe Ledley and Charlie Mulgrew replacing Anthony Stokes and Beram Kayal, with those two among the substitutes. Georgios Samaras and Kelvin Wilson return after resting knocks during Saturday's opening league win against Ross County.

  82. 1802:

Kris Commons netted a late header at Celtic Park to finally pierce a stubborn Elfsborg side, who put in a few meaty tackles in their bid to frustrate Neil Lennon's side last week.

  83. 1800:

Good evening and welcome to our coverage of Elfsborg v Celtic in Champions League qualifying. The Glasgow side take a 1-0 lead to Sweden as they vie for a place in the final play-off round.
