Last season's Conference Premier runners-up Kidderminster began with a solid victory against Gateshead.

Michael Gash headed in Kyle Storer's corner before Richard Brodie fired home from close range on his debut for Gateshead to level.

Storer then helped Harriers regain the lead as he set up Callum Gittings, who slotted in from 10 yards.

Gash struck the crossbar from the spot after Joe Tait handballed before Cheyenne Dunkley's header made it 3-1.
