Airbus UK Broughton's hopes of a Europa League qualifying second-round place were denied in a first-round, second leg 0-0 draw away to Latvia's Ventspils.
The sides drew 1-1 in the first leg at Wrexham.
Andy Preece's side dominated the second leg, but Ventspils' away goal in the first leg sent them through.
Chris Budrys scored Airbus's late equaliser in the first leg and he went close late on in the second.
But Budrys and his team-mates were unable to convert any of their chances at Ventspils Olimpiskais Centrs.
Airbus UK Broughton manager Andy Preece:
"Obviously we're disappointed to go out but I can't be happier with the way we played over two legs.
"We're unbeaten in the two games and we've caused them a lot of problems against a strong side.
"People said that we didn't have much chance, that they were a good team and we'd struggle against them. I don't think we struggled against them at all.
"I think we've been the better team in both the games and with a bit more rub of the green or the odd decision going our way then we could be through to the next round."
