Plymouth Argyle's 19-year-old striker Isaac Vassell has signed a new one-year contract at Home Park.
Vassell made eight substitute appearances in the 2011-12 season before
a loan spell at Truro City.
signed a contract extension in January
which ran out at the end of last season and he was
offered a new deal by Argyle in April.
Despite having never made a start for the Pilgrims, manager John Sheridan says he is a good prospect.
"With him, it's belief in himself, more than anything. He trains with us and I just think he's a bit insecure when he's in and around the first team," Sheridan said.
"But I've told him that he needs to grow up because I've seen something there.
"I think he was surprised, but I think there's something there, some attributes that could make him a good player."
