David Moyes will replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Man Utd - profile

BBC Sport takes a look at the career of David Moyes, as he is confirmed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United.

The 50-year-old Scot will take charge from 1 July after agreeing a six-year deal, and will replace Ferguson - who announced his retirement on Wednesday after 26 years.

Moyes is the Premier League's third longest-serving manager behind Ferguson and Arsenal's Arsene Wenger, having been in charge at Goodison Park since 2002.
