Luton Town: John Still to miss Gateshead game to scout

Luton Town manager John Still will miss Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier game with Gateshead to scout potential signings instead.

The 62-year-old, who was appointed at Kenilworth Road in February, will hand the reins to assistant Terry Harris for the trip to Carlisle's Brunton Park.

We need to decide on potential signings so me and Terry Harris won't do games together for the rest of the season

"Now's the time I need to look at some players that we've been scouting," Still told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"It's important to do that so I won't be there on Saturday."

The Hatters have won only twice in nine games since Still replaced Paul Buckle as the club's manager.

They currently sit ninth in the Blue Square Bet Premier, 16 points off the play-off places with only six games left.

Still will not travel to Cumbria for a game being played away from Gateshead's International Stadium because of pitch problems.

"Me and Terry Harris won't do games together for the rest of the season," he continued.

"We need to make decisions on potential signings so one of us will manage and one of us will scout."
