Fulham 0-0 Stoke: Martin Jol relieved by 'vital' win

Martin Jol is relieved to secure a "vital" 1-0 win over Stoke , but admits his side "should have won more comfortably" at Craven Cottage.

Dimitar Berbatov's stunning volley gave Fulham the lead just before half-time, but Stoke wasted a glorious chance to level after the break when Mark Schwarzer saved a Jonathan Walters penalty.

The victory was only Fulham's fourth in 19 Premier League games and Jol says the Cottagers can now "look to the future" and climb the table.
