Brendan Rodgers puts faith in Liverpool fans for Europa League

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the fans at Anfield will need to lift his side to overturn a 2-0 deficit for their Europa League second leg with Zenit St Petersburg.

Defender Martin Skrtel is a doubt after missing training with a knee problem, while striker Fabio Borini is out with a shoulder injury and forward Daniel Sturridge is cup-tied.

The Reds boss says striker Luis Suarez will be "very important" in Thursday night's match and adds nothing will give him greater pride than making the last 16.
