York City remain without a win in nine league games after a drab goalless draw with Oxford United.
In a tight affair with few chances it was the visitors who came closest when Matty Blair headed straight at Luke McCormick in the Oxford goal.
Tom Craddock, Josh Parker and Adam Chapman had the best of the chances for the U's but failed to convert when in good positions.
The draw puts a further dent in Oxford's slim hopes of a play-off spot.

Oxford United boss Chris Wilder told BBC Radio Oxford:
"We are disappointed. We are disappointed in the overall standard of play.
"There is no getting away from it. We are having a struggle at home. The players are a lot better than they are producing.
"It's a grind but we have to get on with it and get through it.
"We've got to be bold and brave and accept responsibility."
York manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York:
"I thought we were excellent today. It was a battle away from home.
"I think both teams obviously wanted to go and win the game but it was a battle a lot in the middle of the park.
"I'm delighted with a clean sheet, I'm delighted with a point and we go home with some points on the table for us after a disappointing result last week so onwards and upwards. We keep going."
