Falkirk 1-0 Dunfermline

Substitute David Weatherston scored a late goal to give Falkirk victory against Dunfermline.

The best chance of a scrappy first half fell to Pars midfielder Ryan Thomson, who could not keep his header down after rising to meet Ryan Wallace's corner.

The Bairns made a bright start to the second half but failed to make their possession count until the 87th minute when Weatherston slotted the ball past Paul Gallacher from 12 yards.

And Falkirk retained possession in the dying stages to frustrate their visitors, who have now lost four of their last five matches.
