Tadanari Lee leaves Southampton to return to Japan on loan

Southampton striker Tadanari Lee has joined his former club FC Tokyo on loan until the end of June.

Lee, 27, was injured during pre-season and is yet to make a Premier League appearance this term.

He has played twice in the League Cup, scoring against Stevenage in August, while he also appeared in the 5-1 FA Cup defeat against Chelsea.

The Japanese international joined the club in January 2012 but has struggled with injuries while at St Mary's.
