Bristol Rovers picked up their sixth win in eight games thanks to Ryan Brunt's winner against Wycombe.

Brunt had already shot tamely at Jordan Archer before another weak effort, this time a volley, caught the keeper off guard and found the back of the net.

Former Rovers striker Jo Kuffour had two penalty appeals rejected for the visitors, who later failed to convert following a goalmouth scramble.

Rovers have taken 20 points from nine games since John Ward took charge.
